Vision
The Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies seeks to be a leading and academically and professionally distinguished department in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, thermal systems, and renewable energies. This is achieved by preparing qualified graduates who possess the applied knowledge and skills that meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market, and who are capable of designing, operating, maintaining, and developing thermal systems in accordance with approved technical standards.
The department is also committed to supporting applied scientific research, providing technical and engineering consultations, and strengthening partnerships with community institutions and state departments, while implementing local and international quality and accreditation systems to contribute to sustainable development and community service.
Mission
The Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies is committed to developing its academic programs both qualitatively and quantitatively in alignment with the goals of the Northern Technical University. This is carried out by updating academic tracks and curricula and introducing modern specializations and technologies in undergraduate studies, keeping pace with rapid scientific and technological developments and meeting the needs of the local and regional labor market.
