Under the auspices of the President of the Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Jassim Almaadheedy, and under the supervision of the Dean of Mosul Polytechnic College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Nasser Abdul-Razzaq Kashmoula, the Women’s Affairs Division at the college organized an awareness event titled “Decipher the Code: From Rumor to Decision,” as part of the Breast Cancer Prevention Awareness Campaign.
The event aimed to enhance health awareness among women, correct misconceptions and rumors surrounding breast cancer, and emphasize the importance of obtaining information from reliable medical sources. Furthermore, it highlighted the crucial role of early detection in increasing the chances of successful treatment and recovery.
The event featured presentations detailing the importance of routine screening, raising awareness about warning signs that require consulting a doctor, and stressing the vital role health awareness plays in making sound decisions regarding prevention and early detection.
