The department aims to provide the best possible technical support to healthcare institutions in Iraq, while simultaneously developing the capabilities of the department’s faculty and top-performing students to pave the way toward completing the vertical integration of technical education in the medical field.

Aims

The Department of Medical Instrumentation Techniques pursues a primary objective centered on supplying public and private health institutions with highly capable technical cadres in the field of medical devices to provide and enhance technical tasks for all relevant institutions, alongside achieving the following sub-objectives:

1. Enhancing the capabilities and performance of healthcare systems by supporting them with specialized medical instrumentation techniques.

2. Responding to the needs of society and both the public and private sectors by providing specialized medical instrumentation technical cadres capable of maintaining and developing medical device equipment.

3. Establishing modern systems to manage health institution equipment and devices in accordance with the latest technical standards and methods, alongside conducting routine periodic maintenance for all devices.

4. Optimizing technical performance in the medical instrumentation field through advanced capabilities that save time, effort, and costs, ensuring technical medical tasks are executed to the highest standard.
