History and Origin of the Surveying Engineering Techniques Department

The first nucleus of this specialization began through the Technical Institute of Mosul (which later, under modern structural updates, came under the umbrella of the Polytechnique College).

The Objective: The department was established to prepare mid-level engineering technical cadres (surveyors) possessing operational and field skills, aiming to fill the acute shortage in state sectors, construction companies, and road and bridge projects within Nineveh Governorate.
